Please review these Terms & Conditions carefully, it also outlines my responsibilities as your hair and make up artist and my commitment to you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
Payment Terms
A non refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date, without the deposit your date is not booked. By paying the deposit you also agree to the terms & conditions. The deposit amount is £100. The deposit is deducted from the final balance owed for the booking. Payment is accepted in cash or bank transfer. The final balance is to be paid in full, one week (7 days) before your wedding date unless agreed otherwise. Failure to make the payment within the agreed time frame, may result in the cancellation of your booking.
Change/Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be made one calendar month prior to your reserved date or you will be responsible for the full amount of services agreed. Any cancellation will be liable to loss of deposit. If a trial has taken place before a cancellation then the cost of this service will still be charged. In the event of a natural disaster, sickness, accidents or travel disruptions, I take full responsibility on finding a replacement artist of a similar style with no accumulated cost. In the unlikely event that I cannot find a replacement artist, monies (excluding money paid for work already carried out) will be fully refunded. Changes to the bridal party must be made two weeks (14 days) before the wedding, any bridal party cancellations after this may stil incur a charge. Additional bridal party members can be added to the booking if time/resources allow, this must be communicated at least 24hrs before the wedding.
Travel Costs
All road travel to trials and the wedding day is charged at 0.50p per mile (round trip) after the first 20 miles from HP21. Congestion, toll and parking charges may apply and will be quoted accordingly or where necessary paid in cash on the day. Destination weddings/events - Ground travel in the uk and in country of destination is required as well as flights and accommodation for the night before the wedding (and after if necessary). In some cases a £100 travel day fee may be applied. (Please get in touch for further information on destination weddings)
Health & Safety
Please ensure you communicate any allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions before any services are carried out. This includes before/during the trial and afterwards if any sensitivities/problems have been found. I will not be held liable for any adverse reactions to products. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 I am taking extra precautions including enhanced sanitation/disinfection procedures in accordance with local, national and international guidelines. All tools, brushes and other items will be fully sanitised before and after use. If required to do so, full PPE will be worn to ensure both parties are kept safe. You must communicate if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 before I arrive to an appointment.
Insurance
I am fully insured with public liability Insurance provided by Salon Gold to protect both parties involved.
Obligations
I shall provide the services with the highest standard of skill and care. I will arrive 15 minutes before the agreed start time to ensure hair and make up starts in a timely manner. To ensure services are completed in a timely manner an assistant may be hired, this will be discussed prior to the booking. If there are unforeseen delays during the booking that are out of my control, refunds will not be given. Refunds will also not be given if delays are caused by wedding party members, guests or vendors.
